What We Do

Since 2011, three professionals at InnovationMatters saw Nigerians’ entrepreneurial spirit as an opportunity to empower people. We observed that one of the challenges that deflate the Nigerian entrepreneurial spirit was access to funds.

By 2013, we pulled our resources together to begin the CashAccess experiment on funding businesses without the traditional approach that commercial banks or microfinance banks employ. We offer less interest rates for volume loans and make quicker turn over. We are very confident that this offering has given us a competitive edge over traditional loan financing.

Since then our experiment has grown rapidly and the demand for our loans are growing exponentially.

InnovationMatters pioneered the Creating Enterprise Opportunities (CEO) Connect to harness the power of the youth population in Nigeria. Nigeria has a 70% youth population which shows up to InnovationMatters as a huge opportunity to generate and redirect energies to new thinking, creativity and successful enterprises.

In addition to transforming individuals and groups through leadership development, CEO Connect is a ‘one-stop shop’ bouquet of business development opportunities including: legal and financial advice; digital marketing opportunities; skills development (certified vocational training); and information on access to the plethora of funding options available in Nigeria today.
